Repair and reconstruction of timber frame farmhouse
The building, a listed farmhouse dating from the nineteenth century on the outskirts of Croydon, was on Historic England's Buildings at Risk register and was in a perilous state following fire damage.
The current site work involves reconstruction and conservation of of the timber frame, floors and roof.
Conservation principles are being carefully followed and approved at every stage by the local authority Conservation department and Historic England.
